Miami may be a humid metropolis with too much rain, but when the sun’s shining, it’s absolutely gorgeous. And if you have a varied and discerning palate, there’s something for everyone. Spanish is ubiquitous, and Miami’s Cuban food rivals that of its home country. Overall, the restaurant scene is first-class, once you’ve learned to avoid the tourist traps.
Sure crime is an issue -- but if you’re raising a family -- Miami’s outlying exurbs offer safety and great schools.
